Over the course of 19 days in March of 2018, the city of Austin was
terrorized by a series of cold and calculated bombings that took the lives of two people and injured four others. Some of the bombs were placed at doorsteps, others were shipped, puzzling investigators as they tried to calm a city in panic.
It was only through the incredible work of the police, FBI, and ATF that a suspect was identified, resulting in a Hollywood-like police chase and the eventual arrest of a suspect.
This session will take attendees inside one of the largest investigations and manhunts in the country. Det. David Fugitt of the Austin Police Department will map out the series of bombings, breaking down the clues and evidence that lead to finding the bomber and bringing Austin's month of fear to an end.
