Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire: How to Know When Someone is Lying

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
Mark McClish, a retired Deputy U.S. Marshal, knows you're lying…and there are no good liars.

As the man who literally wrote the book on lying, the renowned Statement Analysis expert will arm CC21 attendees with the tools they need to find the fibbers in their own lives.

McClish has analyzed statements from almost every high-profile case imaginable (rabbit hole warning!)—from Bill Clinton to Chris Watts. Attendees will learn the most important parts of deception detection and the keywords that almost always indicate a lie. McClish will break it all down for attendees, providing practical tips to use at home. (Your kids are going to HATE this session!)

In addition to the tips and techniques, attendees will also hear about McClish’s analysis of a case in which a man was convicted of killing his wife and two young daughters in 1979 yet still maintains his innocence. Does this convicted killer’s statements provide further evidence of his guilt, or do they make McClish want to look more deeply into the evidence against him?

If you’re looking for a session with practical application to your everyday life, this is one you won’t want to miss!
